About these Glasses

This frame is dedicated to Jazz Great Sidney Bechet (1897-1959), saxophonist, clarinettist and composer. His mercurial temperament hampered his career and he did not earn wide acclaim until the 1940s. He knew how to read music but chose not to due to his highly developed inner ear, using his own fingering system.


Black Eyewear is a brand of designer glasses & sunglasses based on original vintage designs from the 40s, 50 & 60s. The frames can be fitted with prescription lenses.
