About these Glasses

These aviator sunglasses are dedicated to Jazz great Dizzy Gillespie (1917-1993), trumpeter, bandleader, composer and occasional vocalist. Dubbed the ‘sound of surprise’, he was a trumpeter virtuoso and gifted improviser, playing with layers of harmonic complexity previously unknown to jazz.


Black Eyewear is a brand of designer glasses & sunglasses based on original vintage designs from the 40s, 50 & 60s. This frame can be fitted with prescription lenses.
