About these Glasses

These round sunglasses are dedicated to Jazz Great Thelonious Monk (1917-1982), pianist and composer. Considered one of the giants of American music, he had a unique style and introduced numerous unusual harmonic ideas into jazz. At times, while his band played, he would stand up from the keyboard and dance for a few moments before returning to the piano.


Black Eyewear is a brand of designer glasses & sunglasses based on original vintage designs from the 40s, 50 & 60s. This frame can be fitted with prescription lenses.
