These cat eye glasses are dedicated to Jazz Great Anita O'Day (1919-2006), vocalist. She was known as the ‘Jezebel of Jazz’. Highly admired for her rhythm and dynamics, and for breaking the traditional stereotype of the female singer. She changed her surname from Colton to O'Day, pig Latin for ‘dough’ - slang for money.
