These classic 50s glasses are dedicated to Jazz Great Artie Shaw (1910-2004), jazz clarinettist, composer and bandleader. Widely regarded as one of jazz’s finest clarinettists, he led one of the most popular big bands of his era. He became the first white bandleader to hire a full-time black female singer to tour the segregated southern states.
