Nicole Richie of ‘The Simple Life’ and Marion Manson’s video caused a rush on red ‘heart shaped’ sunglasses, but the number 1 sunglass this summer was Rayban’s classic Wayfarer worn by everybody, and indicates a shift to heavier larger plastics without the glitz and ‘in your face’ logos.

Specs wearers seem to be fed up with sameness and are choosing stronger looking styles like our Retro 50’s range in all colours. Black Eyewear frames like Tatum, Dolphy, Buddy, Coltrane and Max, are heavy chunky plastics.
Round frames are definitely more popular and for Joseph’s Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat at London’s Adelphi Theatre, we supplied 20 ‘Rounds’ for the show. We are definitely going round in circles.
